The brief
The original front entry staircase was finished in an ageing sandstone-look paver that had come loose in places. The client wanted a full staircase retile in a large-format stone-look porcelain to match the home's modern facade.
The old paving was stripped back to the concrete structure and the full staircase, from entry door to street level, was retiled in large-format porcelain.
What we did
Strip-out & disposal — old sandstone-look paving removed back to the concrete structure.
Substrate preparation — steps checked and prepared for a level, secure tile bed.
Tiling — large-format stone-look porcelain laid to every step, riser and landing.
Finishing — grout lines finished consistent, edges detailed against the entry and garden beds.
