Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern the supply of tiling and waterproofing services by EverSeal Tiling & Waterproofing Pty Ltd (“EverSeal”, “we”, “us”) to any person or business that engages us (“you”, the “client”). By requesting a quote, accepting a quote, or engaging us to perform work, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Quotes & pricing
Quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Written quotes list the scope of work and inclusions. Any variation to scope discovered once work has started — such as substrate damage found behind existing tiles — will be communicated to you before proceeding, with a revised price where applicable.
3. Bookings & access
A booking is confirmed once a quote is accepted. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, including power and water where required. Delays caused by restricted access, other trades, or changes requested by you may affect the completion date.
4. Payment
Payment terms are set out in your written quote. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit may be requested to confirm larger bookings, with the balance due on completion. Late payment may incur reasonable administrative costs.
5. Workmanship guarantee
All work is carried out to the applicable Australian Standards, including AS 3740 for waterproofing. We guarantee our workmanship for the period stated in your quote or invoice. This guarantee covers defects in our workmanship and does not cover damage caused by others, normal wear and tear, or materials supplied by the client.
6. Materials supplied by the client
Where you supply your own tiles or materials, we are not responsible for defects in those materials, including colour variation, cracking, or insufficient quantity. We recommend ordering an allowance for breakage and future repairs.
7. Insurance & licensing
EverSeal is fully licensed and holds $20 million public liability insurance. We comply with WorkSafe Victoria requirements on every site we work.
8. Cancellations
We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a reasonable call-out fee to cover scheduled labour and materials already ordered.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the affected work. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
