Waterproofing done to the standard, not to the deadline
Bathrooms, ensuites, laundries, balconies and terraces across Melbourne + Geelong. Certified membranes, correct falls, and every junction detailed before tiling starts.
What’s involved
Waterproofing is the one part of a bathroom nobody sees and everybody pays for when it fails. We treat it as the structural stage of the job: the substrate is checked and prepared, primers matched to the surface, bond breakers installed at every movement joint, and the membrane built up to the required thickness in coats — not rushed in one.
Falls are set so water reaches the waste rather than sitting in a corner. Hobs, penetrations, tap points and floor-to-wall junctions are detailed individually. We only tile once the membrane has cured and been checked.

Common questions
Do I get a waterproofing certificate?
Yes. Completed wet-area work is documented, including products used and areas covered, which is what builders, insurers and owners corporations ask for.
How long before tiling can start?
Typically 24 to 48 hours depending on the product, coats and conditions. We won't tile over a membrane that hasn't cured.
Can you waterproof without removing all the tiles?
Sometimes. For leak repairs there are targeted options; for a failed membrane under a floor, removal is usually the only honest answer. We'll tell you which situation you're in.
Do you work with builders and owners corporations?
Regularly. We're fully insured with $20M public liability, WorkSafe compliant, and used to site inductions and staged access.
