Fix the tile, not the whole floor
Cracked, drummy or lifted tiles replaced and matched, without redoing an area that doesn't need it.
What’s involved
Not every damaged tile means the whole floor needs to come up. We diagnose whether the problem is isolated — a cracked tile, a drummy patch, a lifted corner — or a sign of a wider substrate issue, and quote accordingly.
Where a tile can be matched, we cut it out cleanly and replace it without disturbing the surrounding area. Where matching isn't possible, we'll tell you honestly before starting.
Common repairs
Common questions
Can you match my exact tile?
We'll try, using supplier records and batch matching. If it's discontinued, we'll discuss the closest realistic option.
Why is my tile sounding hollow when I tap it?
That's usually a sign the tile has debonded from the substrate. Worth fixing before it cracks or lifts.
Is a single tile repair worth calling a tiler for?
Yes — a poorly done DIY repair can crack surrounding tiles or damage waterproofing underneath.
